Ashwoods was highly recommended to me by friends. I am so thankful for the recommendation. I had very extensive work done to my town home. Totally new kitchen and main bathroom, extensive work to the main floor powder room, new windows, flooring and painting through out plus a slate wall added to the living room. At the back of the home I had the fence repaired, gate replaced and a large deck built.
I am very pleased and satisfied with all of the work that was done and am thrilled with the end results. Melvin and his team did a great job! Neighbors remarked at how hard working these guys were, and in fact at least one neighbour has hired them and a few others asked for the contact info. Recently when my windows were measured for shutters the man doing the measuring remarked, "who ever did you windows did a really good job".
Melvin was a pleasure to work with. He always kept me updated on projects,and was mindful of my budget and timelines. He offered sound suggestions when there were choices and decisions to be made. It was wonderful to have a contractor that could be relied on...Melvin always showed up when he said he was going to and work was completed pretty much on schedule, and the workers cleaned up well at the end of each day! He also recommended Jeff from Fine-Line Woodwork and Design Inc. who did a fabulous job of my kitchen cabinets, cabinets on the side of the slate wall and cabinets for both bathrooms.
